Grade K-3 Make a Landform
Grade 4-8 Make a Map
Materials Needed:
-Large bowl
-Large spoon
-Green and blue food coloring (Students will be making natural and colored salt dough)
Each student will need:
-2 cups all-purpose flour
-2 cups salt
-2 cups warm water
-Paper plate
-Shaping materials, such as toothpicks or plastic knives.
-Pencil and paper for map
Materials Needed:
- Treasure Chest or Ziplock bag to bury
- Treats or fun notes/jokes
- Shovel or large spoon for digging
-Pencil and paper for map
*Brown paper bag or brown construction paper crumpled up can be used to make a fun looking old map, but any type of paper will do.
