Lesson Summary:

Students code a clap to cause an 'interrupt' in Edison's programming.

What You'll Do:

Today we explore subroutines more by using a clap! Program Edison to follow a code and "interrupt" that code with a clap in order for Edison to start the subroutine. Edison will become a decider bot that answers to the sound of a clap!

  • Edison robot (1 per student)

  • Chromebook (1 per student)

  • Comm cable (1 per robot)

  • Legos

  • Robotics journal or printed sheets
