Grain Size Mystery
Time to go on a sedimentary rock hunt! Students use grain size cards to describe grains within their rock samples.
Materials:
Rocks students collect from outside!
Optional: Sandstone, mudstone, granite
Sorting cards
Petri dishes (to avoid scratching microscope)
