Scan Barcodes Day 6

Lesson Summary:

Students take what they learned from Day 5 about tracking a line and teach Edison how to avoid a line.

What You'll Do:

Program your robot to avoid crossing a black line. Younger students can scan the barcode or students can write their own code.



  • Chromebook or other computer (If they are coding)

  • Print out of the barcodes (If you decide to use these)

  • Edison Robot (1 per student)

  • Legos & tray (1 per student)

  • Electrical tape or balck markers and paper (if they want to build their own ring)
